My mother designed wigs for female impersonators in the 80’s. When her client would come in to try on the finished wig in full costume, I begged to be there. I loved the panache, the style, the loudness of it all. It was magic to see creativity come to life in such a grand way. I strive to recreate that feeling in everything I do.
I like design to make a statement. Simple, elegant, smart, loud, or flashy, sometimes a combo. I’m at my best bringing big ideas to life. I enjoy problem-solving to tell a compelling story or creating a distinctive experience. Crafting details, refining nuances and throwing in the unexpected, are the tools I use.
The majority of my career was spent in agencies or with in-house creative teams. I used that experience to create a sculpture practice that celebrates our love of objects. My mission is to create excitement around brands that want to make a positive impact on our world. I enjoy partnering with people to transform the way we look at retail and its profound influence on the cultural zeitgeist.
For extra good times, I enjoy dancing hula and riding horses.
